Church of Jesus Christ. It
shall seek to obtain this
through public worship of
God; the preaching of the
Gospel, consistent Christian
living by its members,
personal evangelism,
missionary endeavor and
Christian education.”
The
Cherryville Baptist Church
was founded in 1849. Since
that time the
Good News of Jesus Christ has been the center of our life together. We submit ourselves to the authority of the Bible. In all of our worship, study, and fellowship activities we seek to lift up Jesus Christ, and to live out His commandment that we love one another. We are a family of faith, and we covenant together to rejoice with those who rejoice, and to bear one another’s burdens. We seek to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, as we share God’s love by baptizing and teaching in Jesus’ name. _______________________________
